🎉 Das Veranstaltungsreferat organisiert in erster Linie Veranstaltungen wie AStA-Partys.

✨ Der Vorstand ist ein Allrounder. Er koordiniert die Referate, entwickelt neue Projekte und Kooperationen, organisiert und leitet die AStA-Sitzungen und ist in regelmäßigem Austausch mit dem Rektorat.

🏳️‍⚧️ Das Referat für gesellschaftspolitische Themen mit Schwerpunkt Gender bietet Unterstützung bei Fragen, Problemen und Projekten von Studierenden. Es sorgt für Sichtbarkeit, um Studierenden aus Differenzgruppen ein Gefühl von Sicherheit zu vermitteln und vernetzt Studierende z.B. durch Queer-Treffs.

🩺 Das Gesundheitsreferat ist Ansprechperson zu Fragen rund um das Thema Gesundheit. Es sorgt dafür, dass alle Studis gesund studieren und ins Berufsleben starten und organisiert Veranstaltungen gemeinsam mit spannende Partner:innen wie der TK oder der AG Künstler:innengesundheit.

Hey Folks!
Wir spacken den AStA-Newsletter etwas ab. Das heißt ab sofort werden alle Veranstaltungen im zweiwöchigen Takt in einem separaten Newsletter versandt, sodass ihr jede Woche den Plan habt, wo was geht – ganz übersichtlich und ohne den anderen Info-Kram. Schickt uns eure Veranstaltungen an asta-oeffentlichkeitsarbeit@folkwang-uni.de damit sie im Verteiler landen. Einsendefrist sind die Freitage vor dem ersten und dritten Montag im Monat.

Die Internationale Photoszene Köln ist eine bedeutende Institution in der Kulturlandschaft und bietet mit dieser Stelle eine großartige Gelegenheit für alle, die ihre Kompetenzen in der Kulturarbeit einsetzen und weiterentwickeln wollen. Die Studienstarthilfe kann seit dem 2. September beantragt werden. Es handelt sich um eine Einmalzahlung in Höhe von 1.000 € zu Beginn des Studiums. Antragsberechtigt sind Studierende unter 25 aus Familien oder Bedarfsgemeinschaften mit Sozialleistungsbezug, die sich erstmalig an einer Hochschule einschreiben. Weitere Infos hier

Unser Forum ist eine Plattform für Menschen mit Behinderung, chronischer Erkrankung, Neurodiversität oder psychischer Erkrankung und deren Angehörigen, um sich auszutauschen und Fragen zu stellen. Wir sind immer wieder auf der Suche nach Fachpersonen aus beruflichen Gebieten, die auch unser Forum unterstützen. So können Fragen auch nicht nur durch Erfahrungen, sondern seitens unserer Fachpersonen beantwortet werden.

Ein Großteil der Behinderungen wird im Laufe des Lebens erworben. Oft ergeben sich dann viele Fragen, die nicht nur therapeutischer oder medizinischer Natur sind, sondern auch den Alltag betreffen. Fragen, die vor allem Menschen in einer ähnlichen Situation beantworten können.

Wir wollen unser Angebot erweitern und die Bedürfnisse von einer jüngeren Zielgruppe stärker in den Fokus setzen. Wir wollen euch einen geschützten Raum geben, euch auszutauschen und zu unterstützen. In unserer Community hast du einen kostenfreien Raum, um offen und anonym über deine Fragen und Gedanken zu sprechen. Egal, ob Studium, Ausbildung, Schule, selbstständig wohnen oder der eigene Alltag.

Was wollen wir?
Wir wollen mit dem Arbeiten, was gebraucht und gewollt wird. Wir wollen unseren Content und unsere Angebote nach den Bedürfnissen ausrichten. Wir wollen in unserem Forum die Möglichkeit geben, sich gegenseitig zu unterstützen, zu vernetzen und zu ermutigen.

🎉 The Events Department primarily organizes events such as AStA parties.

✨ The Board is an all-rounder. It coordinates the departments, develops new projects and collaborations, organizes and chairs the AStA meetings and is in regular contact with the Rectorate.

🏳️‍⚧️ The department for socio-political issues with a focus on gender offers support for student questions, problems and projects. It ensures visibility in order to give students from different groups a sense of security and networks students, e.g. through queer get-togethers.

🩺 The Health Department is the point of contact for questions relating to health. It ensures that all students study and start their careers in good health and organizes events together with exciting partners such as the TK or the AG Künstler:innengesundheit.

The Internationale Photoszene Köln is an important institution in the cultural landscape and this position offers a great opportunity for anyone who wants to use and develop their skills in cultural work. It is an ideal opportunity to play an active role in shaping one of the oldest photo festivals in Germany and at the same time promote diversity and cultural participation in the arts and cultural sector. The online application for the Aufstiegsstipendium scholarship – the study grant for experienced professionals – is now open again. Prospective and current students can apply for an advancement scholarship until December 2, 2024.

The scholarship program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports skilled workers with vocational training and several years of practical experience in a first academic university degree. Detailed information can be found at https://www.sbb-stipendien.de/aufstiegsstipendium.

The study start-up grant can be applied for from September 2. It is a one-off payment of €1,000 at the beginning of the course. Students under 25 from families or benefit communities who are receiving social benefits and are enrolling at a university for the first time are eligible to apply. Further information here

Our forum is a platform for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, neurodiversity or mental illnesses and their relatives to exchange ideas and ask questions. We are always on the lookout for specialists from professional fields who can also support our forum. This means that questions can be answered not only through experience, but also by our specialists.

The majority of disabilities are acquired in the course of life. This often gives rise to many questions that are not only of a therapeutic or medical nature, but also affect everyday life. Questions that people in a similar situation can answer.

We want to expand our services and focus more on the needs of a younger target group. We want to give you a safe space to exchange ideas and support each other. In our community, you have a free space to talk openly and anonymously about your questions and thoughts. Whether it’s about studying, training, school, living independently or your own everyday life.

What do we want?
We want to work with what is needed and wanted. We want to align our content and our offers with needs. In our forum, we want to give people the opportunity to support, network and encourage each other.

– Cooperation with partner organizations
– Online events
