Neue künstlerische Perspektiven gesucht: Jetzt bewerben für den Diversitätsfonds NRW 2026!

Die neue Ausschreibung für den Diversitätsfonds NRW 2026 ist ab sofort online und wir möchten euch ausdrücklich dazu ermutigen, euch mit kreativen Projekten zu bewerben und die Infos in diversen Communitys weiterzugeben.

Diversität ist Alltag in Nordrhein-Westfalen – doch in Kunst und Kultur ist sie noch längst nicht selbstverständlich repräsentiert. Der Fonds unterstützt künstlerische Perspektiven, die im Kulturbetrieb in NRW bislang zu wenig sichtbar sind – etwa von Menschen mit Zuwanderungsgeschichte, Schwarzen Menschen (PoC), älteren Menschen, Menschen mit Behinderung sowie LSBTIQ*-Kulturschaffenden. Ziel ist es, insbesondere im Bereich der freien Künste die Diversitätsentwicklung aktiv zu stärken.

Die Ausschreibung ist spartenoffen. Explizit willkommen sind auch Antragstellungen von Einsteiger*innen. Die Antragsfrist ist der 30. September 2025. Mehr Informationen zu der Ausschreibung und Bewerbung findet ihr hier:

Zeit, Lust und Leistung mit Behinderung

FH-Studierende sucht Künstler*innen für Ausstellung

Für eine Ausstellung im Dortmunder „Hans C“ sucht die Designstudierende Miriam Wolter Kunstwerke, die sich mit der Frage auseinandersetzen, wie Menschen mit Behinderung die Zeit und das Leben erleben.

„Crip Realities: Against the Clock, Into the Future“ lautet der Ausstellungstitel. „Crip“ ist eine Selbstbezeichnung von Menschen mit einer Behinderung. Bewerben kann sich jeder Mensch mit Behinderung, einer chronischen Krankheit oder einer Neurodivergenz – also einer von der Norm abweichenden Art und Weise, mit der das Gehirn Informationen verarbeitet.

Die zugelassenen Medien sind vielfältig: Fotografie, Malerei, Performance, Poesie, Sound, Skulptur, Spoken Word, Texte sowie Video- und digitale Techniken sind willkommen. Mögliche Themen sind zum Beispiel alternative Zeitwahrnehmungen, Lust, Freude und Intimität, Widerstand gegen Produktivitätszwang sowie Freundschaft und Verbundenheit. Auch unfertige Arbeiten und Prozessformate können eingereicht werden.

Zu sehen ist die Schau vom 1. bis 4. Oktober 2025 im Hans C an der Hansastraße 6-10 in der Dortmunder Innenstadt.

New artistic perspectives wanted: Apply now for the NRW Diversity Fund 2026!

The new call for applications for the NRW Diversity Fund 2026 is now online, and we would like to encourage you to apply with creative projects and share the information with various communities.

Diversity is part of everyday life in North Rhine-Westphalia – but it is still far from being represented as a matter of course in art and culture. The fund supports artistic perspectives that have been underrepresented in the cultural sector in NRW to date – for example, those of people with a migration background, Black people (PoC), older people, people with disabilities and LGBTIQ* cultural workers. The aim is to actively strengthen the development of diversity, particularly in the field of the liberal arts.

The call for applications is open to all disciplines. Applications from newcomers are also explicitly welcome. The application deadline is 30 September 2025. More information about the call for applications and how to apply can be found here:

The guest is Bêrîvan Ronahî Akbaba. As an HR expert, she supports companies in making their culture more diverse and inclusive. In the talk, Bêrîvan will show how young talents can highlight their strengths, appear confident and present themselves authentically in the application process without compromising themselves. Her goal: to encourage people to use their own biography as a strength and find the job that really suits them.

Time, desire and performance with disabilities

University of Applied Sciences student seeks artists for exhibition

For an exhibition at Dortmund’s ‘Hans C’, design student Miriam Wolter is looking for works of art that address the question of how people with disabilities experience time and life.

The exhibition is entitled ‘Crip Realities: Against the Clock, Into the Future’. ‘Crip’ is a self-designation used by people with disabilities. Anyone with a disability, chronic illness or neurodivergence – i.e. a way of processing information that deviates from the norm – can apply.

A wide range of media are accepted: photography, painting, performance, poetry, sound, sculpture, spoken word, texts, video and digital techniques are all welcome. Possible themes include alternative perceptions of time, pleasure, joy and intimacy, resistance to the pressure to be productive, and friendship and connection. Unfinished works and process formats can also be submitted.

The exhibition will be on display from 1 to 4 October 2025 at Hans C, Hansastraße 6-10, in Dortmund city centre.
