Der AStA heißt euch herzlich willkommen an der Folkwang Universität der Künste!
Wir versorgen euch regelmäßig mit nützlichen Hinweisen rund ums Studium und sind immer als Ansprechpartner*innen für euch da.
AStA… was bedeutet das eigentlich?
Der Allgemeine Studierenden-Ausschuss (AStA) wird vom Studierendenparlament (StuPa) gewählt und ist das ausführende Organ der Studierendenschaft. In der Hochschule und nach außen vertritt der AStA die Interessen aller Studierenden. Das Team aus AStA-Vorstand, Geschäftsführung und Referent*innen trifft sich regelmäßig und teilt eine Vielzahl von Themen und Projekten unter sich auf.
Einen guten Überblick über alle Beratungsangebote an Folkwang bekommt ihr hier. Für eine grobe Orientierung haben wir einen Ersties-Flyer erstellt, den ihr auch in euren Ersties-Taschen finden könnt.
In den Taschen findet ihr außerdem einen ReCup-Becher. Dieser wurde mit finanzieller Unterstützung des Rektorats angeschafft, um euren Besuch im AStA-Café nachhaltiger und müllsparender zu gestalten. Kommt einfach im Café (Campus Werden) vorbei, holt euch mit eurem Gutschein einen Kaffee ab und behaltet den Becher danach oder gebt ihn für 1€ Pfand zurück.

Der first year students, dear newcomers, dear Folkwangians!
The AStA welcomes you to the Folkwang University of the Arts!
We regularly provide you with useful information about your studies and are always there for you as contact persons.
AStA… what does that actually mean?
The General Student Committee (AStA) is elected by the Student Parliament (StuPa) and is the executive body of the student body. Within the university and externally, the AStA represents the interests of all students. The team consisting of the AStA board, the management and the advisors meets regularly and divides a variety of topics and projects among themselves.
You can get a good overview of all the advisory services at Folkwang here. or a rough orientation, we have created the Ersties-Flyer, which you can also find in your Ersties bags.
In the bags you will also find a ReCup mug. This cup was purchased with financial support from the Rectorate to make your visit to the AStA Café more sustainable and waste-saving. Just come by the café (Campus Werden), pick up a coffee with your voucher and keep the cup afterwards or return it for a €1 deposit.
